Sacramento Football Camp: FREE FOOTBALL CAMPS WITH A UNIQUE TUITION
No Comments Jun 17th, 2009 by coachroz
The Playmakers philosophy is moving across the city of Sacramento, as well as the state and beyond. For 5 years, Playmakers has offered FREE football camps to youth and high school players in the Sacramento Area. Its effects are getting the attention of the most prominent NFL players who have played the game and media outlets across the country.
FREE TUITION WITH A COMMITMENT TO SERVE
The Playmakers model is unique in rallying the kids, coaches and parents to serve in the community alongside other teams. We are teaching our kids to be leaders in the community, using football as the vehicle. Last summer, over 700 kids participated in youth and (full contact) high school Football camps that promoted values and character as its core theme.
NFLers ON BOARD
Our Playmakers “PAY IT FORWARD” philosophy has earned the endorsement of Heisman Trophy Winner and Hall of Famer, Tim Brown, as well as two-time Nebraska All American and Green Bay Packer, Jerry Tagge. Three-time Pro Bowler, Dallas Cowboy, Doug Cosbie, has also lent his time to various Playmakers functions.
WHAT MAKES PLAYMAKERS SPECIAL?
For a team to come to the Playmakers youth or high school football camps in Sacramento or beyond, they first must commit to:
- A Coaching for Character Clinic
- A Parent Clinic on Character
- Doing community service as a team or organization
This “PAY IT FORWARD” model is not only in Sacramento, but is now in Southern California and Omaha, Nebraska. For more information on Playmakers Football camps or player or coaches clinics, contact us at www.theplaymakers.org
